View Log Results
In the Log File Details frame:
1. Select the type of
Log File
to view:
• “Realtime Traffic Log (shadow.log)” - used for viewing
the Internet activity of all users on the network.
• “User Name Log (usage.log)” - used for viewing the
time and date a user logged on and off the network,
along with the user's profile information.
• “Patch Log (patch.log)” - used for viewing the results of
a software update application, such as which files were
copied to the server, and whether the software update
was successfully applied.
• “Error Log (error.log)” - used only if an Alternate IP
Address is being used in the Block Page Route frame
of the Operation Mode window. This log only displays
information if the IP address used for sending block
pages is not being reconciled with the MAC address of
the NIC card.
• “Admin GUI Server Log (AdminGUIServer.log)” - used
for viewing information on entries made by the admin-
istrator in the R3000 console.
NOTE
: For information about the “Wbwatch Log (wbwatch.log)”,
“Authentication Log (AuthenticationServer.log)”, “eDirectory
Agent Debug Log (edirAgent.log)”, “eDirectory Agent Event Log
(edirEvent.log)” and “Authentication Module Log (auth-
module.log)” options, see the View log results section in the
R3000 Authentication User Guide.
2. Choose the
Last Number of Lines
to view (100-500)
from that file.
3. Click
View
to to open a pop-up window containing the log
results:
