Pedestal Cabinets
a. Carefully remove earth from around cable per
Table II.
b. Fill excavation with coarse gravel to within 153
mm (6 in.) of ground level.
c. Place Cabinet over cables in a vertical position
so that the Cabinet is centered in the excavation.
d. Place Anchor Stake next to Cabinet side.
(Protect Stake top with wood block to prevent
damage while driving.)
e. Using a sledge, drive until Stake top is at
ground level. (See Figure 11.) Repeat for
opposite side.
NOTE: Do not hammer on Cabinet to drive Stakes
into ground.
f. Align and secure Anchor Stakes to Cabinet with
the 3/8" x 1" bolts and nuts provided.
g. Fill cabinet base with pea gravel to within 102
mm (4 in.) of top of skirt.
