Installing extruder cable harness

Parts for the installation of extruder cables are shown in Figure 7.12.

Connect cables to extruder components (Figure 7.13)
–
Connect the extruder motor connector to the connection port on the top of ex-
truder motor.
–
Loose two fastening screws on the top of extruder motor mount, fit the extruder
cable harness into the cable channel, and then tighten up the fastening screws of
the extruder motor mount.

Secure the cable harness onto the top of filament drive using a zip tie.
–
Connect cables to other extruder components, including hot-end heater, hot-end
thermistor, print cooling fan (F0), and filament drive cooling fan (F1). Differ-
ent connectors are used for different components to prevent misconnections of
extruder components.
