Slide index

 

Index of the slide finished in the scanning session 

–

 displayed after the slide was scanned; 

otherwise, this area is empty. 

•

 

Preview image / progress indicator

 

This area is empty until the preview image is taken. The slide preview is displayed in 
landscape orientation. During scanning, an indeterminate progress bar is displayed above 
the preview image. 

The slide preview section displays the preview or thumbnail image and the label area of 
the selected slide. This section includes a progress indicator, as well. 

If the selected slide is currently being scanned, the preview and label area images are 
adaptive and information are displayed in the following order: 

•

 

No information is displayed until the preview image of the slide is taken. 

•

 

Preview image of the slide until the slide is fully scanned. 

•

 

Thumbnail image of the slide if the slide has been fully scanned. 

•

 

The label area displays nothing until the barcode image is taken. 

•

 

The label area displays the barcode image once it was recorded. 

•

 

If the slide has already been scanned the preview always displays the thumbnail 
image of the slide instead of the preview image. 

•

 

If scanning is in progress, the progress bar displays the process of the scanning 
dynamically, regardless of whether selecting a different slide in the list (that will 
become displayed in the preview area) or not. Otherwise, if scanning has not 
started yet, this area contains a '-' character in the middle and no progress 
indication is displayed. 

•

 

Barcode 

Empty until the barcode has been parsed. After parsing, the barcode that has been read is 
displayed. 

•

 

Slide name 

Displays the slide name generated / entered for the slide. 

•

 

Objective type 

The icon of the objective used for scanning. 

•

 

Profile indicator 

Displays the selected profile for the slide. 

•

 

Messages 

If an error or warning event has occurred during processing, the related message is 
displayed here. Error messages are displayed in red; warning messages are displayed in 
orange.
