Liquids and Safety

Warning!

Prior to cleaning the Scanner, the power cord should be unplugged. Only use a dry or lightly
damped lint-free cotton cloth to clean the Scanner. Isopropanol is recommended as a
cleaning agent to clean greasy or dirty surfaces. Make sure that the affected area is
completely dry before switching the device on and operating the system again.

Security

Access control

User name and Password on the user interface must be entered to access and enable full
functionality of the control software.

Caution!

The

Pannoramic® DESK FLASH DX

cannot be operated without user authentication during

login to the control software.

Caution!

The automatic logout function of the

Pannoramic®

Diagnostic Scanner Software prevents

the device from unwanted access by logging the user out automatically after the specified
time of inactivity.

Patient and data security

Warning!

Take extra care when labeling or inserting slides into the magazines as such mistakes can
result in skipped slides or unidentified slides in CaseManager, or lead to patient data mix-up.
