By default the port type is set to UNI unless configured otherwise. At the
‘Use single step configuration‘ prompt, enter Y to go through the steps
without making changes, or enter N to get more detailed information
and to make changes.
Only the ports that the system recognizes as having IFC cards in them are
displayed,
IP and Management Configuration Section
In this section you are prompted for the IP and Management
Configuration parameters: IP address, NMS address, default gateway, and
subnet mask. Enter values as appropriate. These parameters support an
NMS (Network Management Station) station which is connected to the
ATM Switch Fabric Module through the PCMCIA Ethernet port.
