7. FIRST USE
Before starting up the mixing chamber please make sure that:
•
There are no tools or other objects left in the chamber which could damage the chamber or the Savana unit.
•
The servo drive (if present) is properly connected to the mains supply.
•
The chamber is cased properly.
•
The controller is connected properly.
•
The filter access cover is closed
7.1 SWITChING ON
Check the functionality of the appliance (valve functionality) by switching it on.
8.1 PERIODIC CLEANING Of ThE MIxING ChAMBER
In case of manipulation with electrical parts during mixing chamber maintenance the main electric power
supply must be switched off. In order to avoid sharp object injuries it is necessary to wear protective gloves
while manipulating the unit!

vacuum cleaner
•
brush
•
cleaning cloth
•
non-aggressive detergent (soap water)
It is recommended to perform periodic checks of filter condition every 500 machine-hours, and also before and
after heating season.
If the mixing chamber has not been used for a longer period it is recommended to be switched on for at least
an hour every six months. Adjust filter checks frequency to local conditions.
8. MAINTENANCE
8.2 PERIODIC MIxING ChAMBER ChECKS
It is recommended to perform periodic checks of the mixing chamber condition every 500 machine-hours, and
also before and after the heating season.
- valves condition check (mainly their functionality)
- chamber mounting check
- bolting and threaded bars check
- filter condition check
