INITIAL SETTINGS
Note.
For this TV model, there is no need to select the country during the first power-on and initial device
settings. WebOS will move the application data to this TV’s content storage depending on the IP address.
Different programs work in different countries.
Selecting the signal source
Press the (
), button to display the list of input sources.
Press the
, button to select the input source you want to view, and then press the (
), button to enter the
input source.
The HDMI input source can be selected from the home toolbar.
Note: Please make sure all necessary cables and devices are connected before viewing.
CORRECT DEVICE INSTALLATION AND CHOOSING
THE PLACE OF INSTALLATION
When you first turn on the TV, be sure to place it on a hard, stable surface.
To avoid hazards and threats to health and the integrity of the device, do
not expose the TV to water or heat sources (e.g. lamps, candles, radiators).
Do not block the ventilation holes on the back panel of the device and
remember to leave a sufficient margin of distance between such holes and
the objects closest to the TV.
FIRST POWER ON
After connecting the TV antenna or cable, turn on the TV. A message will appear on the screen asking you to select
the language and country, the type of input signal and the selection of the playback mode and the suggestion to
connect the LG ThinqQ. After setting the parameters, you can start using WebOS. When choosing a country, you
need to enter the general menu for selection, a detailed description on p. 17 of this manual.\
