H A P T E R

Introduction

1.1 Overview

The WRE2205 (N) is a universal repeater that is an access point and a wireless client at the same
time. The WRE2205 (N) wirelessly relays communications from its wireless clients to the access
point.

Your can create the following connections using the WRE2205:

•

LAN

. You can connect network devices via the Ethernet port of the WRE2205 so that they can

communicate with each other and access the Internet.

•

WLAN

. Wireless clients can connect to the WRE2205 to access network resources.

Use a (supported) web browser to manage the WRE2205.
