= DSL over POTS (G.992.1 Annex A).

annexb

= DSL over ISDN (G.992.1 Annex B).

The wire pair number.

2wire

= a normal connection using a single DSL

port’s two wires, this is the default.

4wire

= a 4-wire group (two DSL ports grouped

together).

mpair4

= an 8-wire group (four DSL ports grouped

together).
