10.1 About SNMP
Your Prestige 681 supports SNMP agent functionality, which allows a manager station to manage and
monitor the Prestige through the network. Keep in mind that SNMP is only available if TCP/IP is
configured on your Prestige.
10.2 Configuring SNMP
To configure SNMP, select
SNMP Configuration
(enter 22)
from the Main Menu to open

SNMP Configuration
, as shown in the figure below. The “community” for Get, Set and Trap fields is
simply SNMP’s terminology for password.
