Use these commands to configure an EPON profile. This command enables MAC address
learning for the profile.
The following shows an example.
• Create an EPON profile called
plan1
for the upstream traffic.
• Enable data encryption on both the upstream and downstream traffic.
• Set the minimum and maximum upstream bandwidth to 1000 and 10000 respectively.
• Set the highest priority (7) for this profile.
The following shows another example.
• Create an EPON profile called
plan2dn
.
• The policy applies to the downstream traffic.
• Enable data encryption on both the upstream and downstream traffic.
• Set the minimum and maximum upstream bandwidth to 2000 and 30000 respectively.

<0-64> =
Sets the maximum number of MAC addresses a fiber port is
allowed to learn. For example, if you enter

for port 2, then only
the devices with these eight learned MAC addresses may access
port 2 at any one time. A ninth device would have to wait until one
of the eight learned MAC addresses aged out.
dn-policing =
Applies the EPON profile settings to the downstream traffic.

= Sets the priority for the logical link to which this profile is applied.
encryption-

Sets the OLT to encrypt data using AES128 to provide secure
communication through the ONUs. You can apply data encryption
to downstream or both the downstream and upstream traffic.

Sets the maximum downstream burst size that an ONU is allowed
to send for a single traffic burst.
max-dn-bw <0-
16000> =
Sets the maximum downstream bandwidth allowed for the ONU.
min-up-bw <0-
16000> =
Sets the maximum and minimum upstream bandwidth guaranteed
to the ONU.
max-up-bw <0-
16000> =
Sets the maximum and minimum upstream bandwidth guaranteed
to the ONU.
