Chapter 6 Basic Setting

OMC-2301 User’s Guide

By default, the OLT uses the Plato DBA algorithm that allows you to fully utilize bandwidth in
your network environment. With the Plato DBA algorithm, the OLT assigns bandwidth based
on report messages from ONUs, link priority and delay tolerance. In addition, the OLT
guarantees a minimum upstream bandwidth and provides the best-effort maximum upstream
bandwidth.
