Tank

Clean and empty the tank. Protection agents can influence the lifetime of the product.

P.T.O.

Clean and grease it. If necessary, replace the plastic protection and chain.

Pressure regulator

Unwind the handle so that there is no force on the spring. Unwind the regulator with
the manometer and store it in a warm place. .

Pump

Empty the tank, open the lids of the filters and take the hoses of the pump. Leave the
pump one minute working. The pump will not break in low temperatures. Unwind the
glycerin manometer also and store it in a warmer place. In spring put the parts
together. Do not forget the seals.
If you use an antifreeze agent, add 10 l water 33% of the agent and leave the pump
running some minutes so that the agent reaches the whole system.

Fan

After the season, clean the fan and the fan housing carefully. Dismantle the net from
the housing and clean the fan with a brush, so that there are no dirt or agent leftovers.
The dirt can unbalance the fan- vibrations, which can break some parts of the sprayer.
Clean also the deflector.

16. PUMP MAINTENANCE

Before the spraying

1. Oil control

When the shaft is disengaged, the oil level must be on the marked place. If the oil
should be refilled, use SAE 20 W 40 oil.

2.  Do not engage the pump if the sucking filter is not connected.
3.  Check the connections on the sucking hose (no air sucking).
4.  Engage the pump by 0-bar pressure that the air can get out. Then set the working

pressure.

Regular maintenance

The maintenance contains of periodical oil checks that needs to be
refilled if it is under the marked level on the glass cup.
The oil needs to be replaced after the first 20 to 50 hours of work.
For the oil exchange open the lid on the glass cup, unwind the oil
release screw and turn the shaft until all oil gets out.

Fill in the pump 1.0 l of SAE 20 W 40
oil.  When  you  fill  the  pump,  turn  the
shaft,  so  that  the  air  gets  out.  After
each  spraying,  the  pump  needs  to  be
cleaned with clean water.
