3.1 Unpacking

This section describes R800 LTE Router unpacking and the packing list check.

3.2 Installation and Connection

This section describes the installation of SIM card of R800 LTE Router and its connection with Ethernet port and

serial port cable, etc.

3.3 Power Supply

This section describes the requirement and method of power supply for R800 LTE Router.

3.4 Installation and Inspection

This section describes how to conduct post-installation check of R800 LTE Router.

3.1. Unpacking

When the device arrives at the site, it shall be unpacked and inspected for integrity of accessories. In normal case, the

complete device shall have the accessories listed in Table 2-2. Unpack it and well store the packing materials for secondary

transshipment.

3.2. Installation and Connection

3.2.1. SIM C

ARD

NSTALLATION

While installing SIM card, please make sure the router is in power-off condition, so as not to burn the SIM card.

Step 1

Press slightly on the button on SIM card seat with something sharp to make the seat pop up, and take out the seat.

See Figure 3-2-1.

Step 2

Make side up the metal face of SIM card, and insert it into the card seat, with the unfilled corner outward. Then,

push the card seat into the slot. See Figure 3-2-2.
