Google Now and Voice Search

You can search for information on the web or on your phone
using Google Now. You can also search the web or perform
certain tasks by speaking.

Searching With Text

1. Start the search in one of the following ways.



Touch

in the home screen and select

Google



Touch and hold the

Home Key

2. Enter the terms you want to search for and touch the search

key on the keyboard, or touch a search suggestion.

Searching by Speaking

1. Open

Google

and touch the microphone icon to the right of

the search box

, or just say ‘Google’. You can also touch

> Voice Search

from the home screen.

Speak the terms you want to search for. When you’re finished
speaking, your speech is analyzed and the search is initiated.

Changing Search Settings

Open the

Google

app and touch the

Menu Key > Settings

set Google Now, notification, my stuff, voice, phone search
options, and change privacy settings for your account.
