Applying adhesive (refer to Figure 603)

Apply a first coat of adhesive with a brush to both surfaces to be assembled
(carry out this operation like applying a coat of paint by brush);
Allow it to dry for about 15 minutes, until the film of adhesive is dry to the
touch;
Apply the second coat and allow it to dry until it is tacky (film appears dry but
retains some adhesion to the touch).
NOTE :
REMOVE FROSTING OR CONDENSATION (DULL OR WHITISH
APPEARANCE) BY RUBBING WITH A DAMP CLOTH MOISTENED
(BUT NOT EXCESSIVELY) WITH MEK SOLVENT (refer to Figure 602).
CAUTION :
DO NOT EXCEED ONE HOUR BETWEEN APPLYING THE
ADHESIVE AND ASSEMBLING THE SURFACES.
