application programs and turn-off /turn on the instrument and try to update firmware again.

Do not turn off during firmware upgrade. After Firmware upgrade, you must turn off ZIVE SP2

and turn it on

Default firmware package location is c:/zivedata/zivelab/sm6/config folder
