11.3.1 Adjusting the shock absorber for the 0°/90° position

Perform the following steps for both shock absorbers.

Switch off the power supply.
►
Swivel the product to the desired position by hand.
►
Loosen the lock nut.
►
Rotate the shock absorber clockwise until the connecting plate
moves.
Ö
The piston rod of the shock absorber is pushed in as a result.
►
Unscrew the shock absorber counterclockwise one turn.
Ö
Damping is attenuated.
Ö
The shock absorber is set to maximum effect.
►
Loosely attach the lock nut.
►
Remove persons and objects from the swivel range.
►
Switch on the power supply.
►
Slightly open the adjustment screw of the flow control valve.
►
Apply compressed air to the product.
►
Check the function.
►
Readjust the settings to the flow control valves and the shock
absorbers as required.
►
Tighten the lock nut.

To ensure reliable sensing, only those sensors sold by Zimmer GmbH and listed as accessories may be used.

Note that switching point shifts may occur if the sensors are exposed to an additional, external magnetic field.
