CONNECTION OF DRIVE SYSTEMS
NOTICE!
The connection of the e rapeseed/canola crop divider must be performed by an accordingly
qualified specialist workshop!

The specified voltage of the electrical motor must accord to the voltage of the harvester on-board electrical system. The on-
board electrical system of the harvester must be capable to supply an additional 400 Watt to the other consumers for every 12
Volt of the rapeseed/canola crop divider (this accords to approximately 750 Watt for a 24 V divider) which approximately ac-
cords to the specified ampere value. If required, a stronger generator must be installed.
ATTENTION: The electrical motor is equipped with magnets in the casing which are very sensitive. Do not expose to
blows with a hammer or similar actions!
The passing of the electrical lines (with a cross-section of at least 6 mm²) must be performed according to Diagram 3. At the de-
ployment of two rapeseed/canola crop dividers, these must accordingly be passed twice!
Battery: Due to the high amperage, it is strictly necessary to connect the cables here!
Interconnect fuses (25A respectively KVA): directly after the battery into the + wire. At this point, a flat automatic fuse can
also be installed. These are available as accessories. Fasten the automatic fuse at the harvester housing using the provided
clamping bar. Never operate the rapeseed/canola crop divider without fuses!
NOTICE!
The shutting down of the harvester head must strictly also lead to the shut down of the rape-
seed/canola crop divider!
Mount the push-button in the harvester cab
so that the activation of the harvester head with
the lever
(see Diagram 8)
leads to the clos-
ing of the switch contact. There are harvesters
where the head is not activated mechanically via
a lever
but electrically via a rocker switch.
In this case, the line to the rotary switch
must be connected there. The rocker switch
consequently assumes the function of the push
button
.
Switch: The rapeseed/canola crop divider
can also be shut down with this, if the harvester
head is operational. Mount the same near the
seat of the driver in the control panel on a water-
and dust-protected basis.
Relay: if the switch
and
are
closed, power will flow into the coil of the relay and leads to the closure of the contact. To the connections 30 and 87, those
wires must be connected, which pass the high voltage current to the divider motor. Tightly screw the relay with its holding notch
beneath the control panel.
Motor of the rapeseed/canola crop divider: Watch out for the correct rotational direction at the connection of the cables. For
this, see the arrow symbol on the cover hood (right rotation seen from the direction of travel).
Cable sets are available as accessories.
Due to the h9igh voltage values, only one rapeseed/canola crop divider may be connected to one cable set. Accordingly, two
cable sets are required for two rapeseed/canola crop dividers.
