Recommended engine oil SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40 (depending on the operating temperature).
Dispose of the used oil properly at a local used oil collection point. Dumping used oil in the soil or mixing it with waste is prohibited.
Important note in case of repair:
When returning the snowblower for repair, for safety reasons, ensure that it is free of oil and fuel when it is sent to the service centre.
Please follow points 1-3 above to drain the engine oil and close the filling port (dipstick).
When draining the petrol, close the fuel valve first, then open the tank cap and let the petrol completely drain into a sufficiently large
container by tilting it or suctioning it out.
Then, close tank cap again.
Attention! No smoking and no open flame. Risk of explosion!
Maintenance plan
1. Daily, before the beginning of operation
• Check the fuel
• Check the engine oil
• Check fuel lines
• Tighten screws
2. After 20 operating hours
• Check drive belts
• 1st engine oil change
• Lubricate all moving parts of the machine
3. After 50 operating hours
• Check the exhaust system
4. After 100 operating hours
• Check and clean the spark plug
• Additional oil change
Lubrication
Auger Gearbox
The gearbox was filled with lubricant to the proper level at the factory. Unless there
is evidence of leakage or service has been performed on the gearbox, no additional
lubricant should be required. If lubricant is required, use GL-5 or GL-6, SAE85-95, EP
gear oil lubricant. Do not use synthetic oil.
