D2O FL1 Product Manual - 25
COMMAND SYNTAX
DETAILS
msg -g
Displays the date and time in Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) of the next satellite transmission
opportunity within a 24 hour window from now.
The returned date and time format is: Weekday Day - Month - Year Hour : Minute : Second
While this is the next opportunity it does not guarantee a successful transmission will occur.
Factors such as physical obstructions, interference or inclement weather can prevent a
successful transmission from occurring.
Example:
msg -g
Thursday 07-01-2021 11:54:22
COMMAND SYNTAX
DETAILS
acq -u
<unit>
Sets the engineering unit transmitted to the server that corresponds to the volume of a
single pulse from the flow meter. Parameter at
<unit>
must be one of the following:
NA
Not Applicable: No unit specified
L
Litre
kL
Kilolitre
ML
Megalitre
Gal
Gallon
KGal
Kilogallon
MGal
Megagallon
m3
Cubic Meter
The default value is
kL
(Kilolitre).
This is an
Admin Restricted c
ommand and cannot be set until the
admin
command has
been executed.
Example: Setting the engineering unit to be L (Litres)
acq -u L
OK

acq -p
<scale>
The pre-scale setting exists as a battery saving mechanism to stop the whole D2O
system needing to initialise every time a single pulse is recorded. Without this the D2O
would rapidly deplete its battery. Accurate reporting of the current pulse counts are still
conducted as part of the hourly readings and this setting only applies to pulses that are
recorded in between the hourly readings.
The parameter at
<scale>
can be set between 1 and 255, and indicates the number of
pulses that will occur before the D2O initialises to record the value. The default is every
100
pulses.
Individual site factors, such as the likely flow rates and desired battery endurance, should
be carefully considered before modifying this setting.
This is an
Admin Restricted c
ommand and cannot be set until the
admin
command has
been executed.
Example: Setting the pre-scale value to be 150 pulses
acq -p 150
OK
