EPA FILTER

the filter with a new one.

To replace the EPA filter press filter cover latch and pull
the filter cover out.

Remove the used filter cartridge and replace it with
a new one.
EPA/HEPA filter provides an effective air
filtering during vacuuming for a period of about
one year.

Replace the filter cover so that the two tabs on the
bottom of the cover fit the holes in the appliance body. Press
the filter cover, so that the latch clicks into the body. The
distinctive click indicates a correctly mounted filter cover.
Do not use the vacuum cleaner with pre-filter or
EPA/HEPA filters are not properly fitted.
Always replace a damaged pre-filter or EPA/
HEPA filter with a new, genuine one.
Remove SAFBAG dust bag

Your vacuum cleaner is equipped with a safety valve
located in the dust bag chamber. It opens automatically
when you block the suction hose or connected
accessories or the dust bag is full. You will hear distinctive
“fluttering” when the valve opens. When the valve opens
the
“BAG”
message will be shown on the LED.

When the
“BAG”
message is shown on the LED (nozzle
or brush nozzle is raised above the surface to be cleaned),
it means that the dust bag is full and you need to replace the
bag for a new one. The
“BAG”
message may also be shown
on the LED when suction tube or connected accessories are
blocked.

Press the
on/off button to turn off the vacuum
cleaner.

Unplug power cord from wall outlet.

Press the two lateral tabs at the end of the suction hose
and remove it from the vacuum cleaner.

Release front cover latch and open the cover.

Remove the SAFBAG dust bag holder with integrated
bag from the vacuum cleaner.

Slide out the SAFBAG from its holder guides.

Close the SAFBAG dust bag cap to cover the opening of
the filled bag. Discard the bag.

Insert a new bag cardboard between the guides of the
SAFBAG dust bag holder and slide it all the way in and then
unfold the bag. Insert the bag as indicated by an arrow on
the bag.

Slide SAFBAG bag holder and attached bag into the
slots located on the wall of the vacuum cleaner chamber.

Close the cover by pressing it until you hear a click – be
careful not to pinch the bag.

Zelmer vacuum cleaners are equipped with the number of
SAFBAG bags specified in the table. It is recommended to
replace the bag, when you notice:
a)
“BAG”
message is shown on the LED
b) safety valve operates
c) vacuuming performance deteriorates significantly
d) the dust bag is full.
Complete your work, cleaning and
maintenance

Press the on/off button to turn off the vacuum cleaner.

Unplug power cord from wall outlet.

Press
to wind the power cord. Hold the cord to
prevent tangling and make sure the plug does not hit the
vacuum cleaner.

Press the two lateral tabs at the end of the suction hose
and remove it from the vacuum cleaner.

Remove nozzle or brush from telescopic tube.

Disconnect suction hose from telescopic tube. To remove
the tube from the hose handle simultaneously press the latch
“A”
and pull the tube as indicated by the arrow.

The vacuum cleaner may be stored in a vertical or
horizontal position. Put the hook fastening the combination
carpet & floor brush into its clip. You can leave the hose
attached to the vacuum cleaner, but make sure it is not bent
excessively during storage.

If needed, wipe the casing, dust bag compartment with
a damp cloth (you may add some washing-up liquid), let it air
dry or wipe it dry.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Examples of problems while operating the
vacuum cleaner

the dust bag.
• Replace the dust bag even if it is not
full yet. In unfavorable conditions, fine
dust might have clogged the pores on
the surface of the dust bag.
• The suction tube, the hose or the
attachment is blocked – remove the
cause of the clogging.
The dust bag is damaged. Remove the dust bag and the filters.
The suction power of the
vacuum cleaner is weak.
Replace the dust bag and the filters,
check the suction tube, the hose and
the nozzle - remove the cause of the
clogging.
