7 Place the bag plate of a new bag into the guides of the
SAFBAG handle, and slide it to the limit. The direction in
which you should install the bag is marked by an arrow on
the bag.

Close the cover by pressing it, until you hear
a characteristic “click” – be careful not to trap the bag.
Do not start vacuuming without the SAFBAG-
type bag.
You have to replace the bag, if:
a) the red field covers the bag full indicator,
b) the vacuum cleaner works less efficiently,
c) the bag is full.
The number of SAFBAG bags set that can be purchased,
is placed on a sticker located in the vacuum chamber.
Filter disassembly
Before changing the filters make sure that the vacuum
cleaner is switched off and unplugged from the mains supply.
INLET FILTER
1 Press the two side buttons on the end of the hose and
remove the hose end from the inlet opening of the vacuum
cleaner.

Release the fastening of the upper cover (7) , and open it.
3 Tilt bag’s handle and remove the bag.

Pull out the inlet (14) from the guides situated at the back
wall of the chamber of the vacuum cleaner.
5 Put the new filter into the guides situated at the back wall
of the chamber of the vacuum cleaner.
6 Place the bag plate of a new bag into the guides of the
SAFBAG handle, and slide it to the limit. The direction in
which you should install the bag is marked by an arrow on
the bag.
7 Close the cover by pressing it, until you hear
a characteristic “click” – be careful not to trap the bag.
The damaged inlet filter should be replaced with
a new, genuine manufactured product only.
It is advised to replace the inlet filter every
4 replacements of the SAFBAG dustbug,
or even more often, if necessary.
INNER FILTER
1 Push the fastening in the inlet filter cover and remove the
cover from the vacuum cleaner.
2 Take out worn-out outlet filter.

Put a new filter paying attention to insert it precisely in its
place.
4 Close the outlet filter cover – the outlet filter cover
blockade should slam. Characteristic “click” means that the
outlet filter cover is correctly mounted.

Always replace a damaged inlet filter only with
a brand new one.
After-work procedures, cleaning and
maintenance
1 Press the on/off switch (1) to stop the vacuum cleaner.

Remove the plug of the cord from the socket.
3 Wind the cord by pressing the cord winder button (3) .
Hold the cord when doing it to avoid tangling the cord up or
letting the plug hit the vacuum cleaner.
4 Disconnect the telescopic pipe from the nozzle or brush.
5 Disconnect the telescopic tube from the hose. In order to
remove the tube from the hose handle press the “A” locking
device and pull the tube in the direction of the arrow.
6 Press both of the side buttons situated on the end of the
hose, and remove the end of the hose from the inlet of the
vacuum cleaner.

The vacuum cleaner may be stored in a vertical position
– just place the fastening hook of the combination brush
into the fastening of the combination brush. The hose may
be connected to the vacuum cleaner. Yet it is necessary to
make sure it is not bent to hard during storing time.
Horizontal storage:
–
place the fastening hook of the combination brush into
its fastening placed at the back of the vacuum cleaner,
near the cord exit.
Vertical storage:
–
place the combination brush on the telescopic tube,
–
then insert the hook of the telescopic pipe into the
fastening situated on the bottom of the vacuum cleaner,
near the front wheel.
8 If necessary, clean the casing and the chamber of the
vacuum cleaner with a damp cloth (it may be damped in
dishwashing liquid), dry it off, and wipe it dry.
Do not use any scrubbing agents or solvents.
Examples of problems while operating the
vacuum cleaner
PROBLEM ACTION
A characteristic “fluttering”
of the vacuum cleaner is
heard.
• Check the dust bag and the
accessories, remove the cause of the
clogging or replace the dust bag with
a new one.
• Clean the vacuum cleaner chamber
and the filter.
The dust bag is damaged. Remove the dust bag and the filters.
