Preparations for use

OPMI® 1FR XY Surgical Microscope on S7 Floor Stand

Issue 4.0

Printed on 14. 11. 2007

Changing the microscope accessories

You can change the microscope accessories in reverse order to that de-
scribed before. Please observe the following:

•

Turn off the unit at the power switch before changing any accessories.

•

Bring the suspension arm in a position convenient for you and tighten
friction adjustment knob (1).

•

After changing the accessories, loosen the friction adjustment knob
again and adjust the degree of friction as required.

Caution:

–

Before every use and after re-equipping the instrument, make sure
that binocular tube (4) is securely locked in position. Make sure that
securing screw (3) and objective lens (2) have been firmly tightened!

–

Re-adjust the balance of the suspension arm after every change of the
equipment.
