Network connection
A network connection is required for:
– Data backup
– Teleservice (this is a ZEISS-recommended service and requires an Internet connection).
An Internet connection is not required for the installation of the CMM.
Network topology
System components are networked during start-up by a ZEISS service engineer (or a specialist authorized by ZEISS) in
accordance with the applicable specifications and must not be modified by the customer. Any change may lead to
connection problems.
