Unloading/ in-plant transport
Requirements
– Sufficient floor and ceiling load capacity of the transport routes.
– Transport routes must be clear.
– The transport routes and doorways must be at least 10 cm wider and higher than the CMM assemblies, including
transport equipment. The dimensions of the CMM assemblies can be found under "Shipping crates."
– The CMM assemblies may be transported to the installation site only on a pallet and in a secured condition.
– To unload and transport the CMM assemblies, hoisting equipment is required, e.g. a forklift with sufficient weight-
bearing capacity and dimensions.
Risk of tipping!
If the shipping pallet is not lifted below the center-of-gravity label, the cargo may tip over and be ir-
reparably damaged.
The center of gravity of the packaged CMM is located outside of the center of the shipping pallet
and is labeled accordingly on the packaging (1). In addition, an underride guard is attached on one
side of the shipping pallet (2) so that the shipping pallet can only be picked up below its center of
gravity. See illustration.

– A crane or forklift with the following properties is required to lower DuraMax onto a table or base (option). Fork
length: ≥1000 mm, fork thickness: ≥40 mm over ≥700 mm, separation of the fork arms: outer dimensions ≤420
mm, inner dimensions ≥120 mm.

The CMM must be protected against hard jolts or strong vibrations during transport.
