Instrument Description and Main Features

The following components are necessary for operating the DirectFRAP imaging system in combination
with Axio Observer:

−

Axio Observer.Z1 microscope (431007-0000-000, 431007-9901-000 or 431007-9902-000) with the
basic laser safety kit for the Axio Observer.Z1 stand

−

Laser safety device for microscope and peripheral units

−

Laser Bench Tower with fiber coupling or Laser Bench Rack with a maximum of three fiber couplings

−

Laser manipulation slider with multimode fiber

−

PC with working memory not less than 4096 MB working memory

−

Monitor for image display

−

AxioCam MRm, AxioCam HRm, AxioCam HSm digital camera or Photometrics EMCCD cameras

−

Software from ZEN 2012 SP1 or ZEN 2012

−

Vibration-damped table or anti-vibration plate for Axio Observer

Fiber oscillator
