8.1 Filters
The replacement period of the filter depends on local circumstances.
Replace the filters (at least) every six months.
When using the unit for the first time, it is recommended to replace the filters (and clean the valves) first.
During the construction phase the ventilation system could have become dirty with building dust.

Open the filter maintenance access
door. Pull both filter clamps (upper and
lower) forwards. Remove the old filters.
The following aspects must be taken
into account, while installing the new
filters into the unit:

Place the air direction arrow
towards the plate exchanger;
�
Place the text “Dust side” away
from the plate exchanger.
If the filter is in two sections,
the gap between them must
line up with the vertical seal
frame.
8.2 Condensation drain(s)
Inspect the condensation drain(s) at least once every 2 years.

Open the plate exchanger and/or
battery maintenance access door. Perform the following checks of the
condensation drain siphon:

Check whether the drain is still
open by pouring water in the drip
tray;
�
Visually inspect the condensation
drain for contamination;
Check if the seal of the condensation
drain is air tight. Air may not pass
through or by the siphon.
Resolve any noted problems
