5.8 Invoking the OSD overlay

(17) First of all, if you had taken the SD card out to run the stream on Windows Media Player, put the SD

card back in the board and remount it in ZDVR:

= storage mmc

(18) Type the following example app to invoke the OSD overlay example:

= cd /opt/dvsdk

= ./interface &

(19) You should see a sample picture on the screen:

(20) Now try an encode command with passthrough:

= record vpassthru=true ntsc1.mp4

(21) You should see the content being encoded overlapped with the original picture:
