After you’ve confirmed the custom setting can be used, go ahead and restore back to the original

default value. Click on “User Presets”. In the User Presets options, click the box to the right of
“

preset:

” at the bottom and select “serial_menu”. Then click “Save”.

Power down the board and exit the Web Interface.

Power the board back up. After the STATUS1 LED turns on, bring the Web Interface back up.

Confirm that the board came back up using “serial_menu” to load settings and that CH1 is back to

encoding at 8Mbps.

You have now successfully used a customized setting.

Factory defaults are also an option. Select “encoder factory default” from the preset menu.

Making a Firmware Update

(1)

Bring up the Web Interface (steps (1) – (7) in Section 5.0).

On the opening screen, click on “update device firmware”.
