A2.2 Setting and Change of Basic Parameters
This section describes the procedure taken to set and change the parameters for each block. Obtaining
access to each parameter differs depending on the configuration system used. For details, refer to the
instruction manual for each configuration system.
IMPORTANT
Do not turn the power OFF immediately after parameter setting. When the parameters are saved to the
EEPROM, the redundant processing is executed for the improvement of reliability. If the power is turned
OFF within 60 seconds after setting of parameters, changed parameters are not saved and may return to
their original values.
When the consecutive parameter setting to the multiple parameters is not executed via the acyclic data
exchange, the time interval between each parameter setting must not be within 2 seconds.
Changed parameters may not be written to the device.
Refer to the “List of parameters for each block of the RAMC” for details of the Write Mode for each block.
Set the Target of block mode (TARGET_MODE) back to „Auto“
Make setting or change in accordance to each parameter
Access the parameter to be set or changed
Set the Target of block mode (TARGET_MODE) to „AUTO“, „MAN“ or „O/S“
according to the Write Mode of the parameter to be set or changed
Access the block mode (TARGET_MODE) of each block*
* It is assumed that write protection is disabled. Otherwise disable write protection first.
