12.5 Updating the Firmware

Procedure

Version Up Screen

SETUP

and then the

Version Up

soft key to display the following screen.

Use the

rotary knob

and

ENTER

to select

the firmware update file.

Executes the firmware update

Select the drive that contains the

firmware update file (internal memory,

USB memory).

Explanation

To update the firmware, select a firmware update file (.YMC extension).

• You can change file names, except for the extension, as necessary. For instructions on how to

change the file name, see section 9.4.

• When the firmware update ends successfully, this instrument restarts automatically.
• When the firmware update fails, “Cannot load this file. Invalid file ∙∙∙∙∙∙” appears. Make sure that

there are no problems with the firmware update file.

• For instructions on how to view the version of your AQ1100A, AQ1100B, or AQ1100D, see section

12.3.
