Component Names and Functions

Front Panel

Power switch (POWER LED)

Press to turn the AQ1000 on and off. Illuminates in

green when the AQ1000 is running.

Illuminates in red when the battery is low. The LED

illuminates in red for an instant during startup, but

this does not indicate the battery level.

CHARGE LED

Illuminates in red when the battery is being charged.

It turns off when charging is complete.

LCD

Used to perform touch panel

operations.

AVG Key

Press to start or stop the averaged measurement of

optical pulses.

REAL TIME key

Press to start or stop the real-time measurement of

optical pulses.

ENTER key

Press to confirm procedures and settings.

Arrow keys

Press to change values, move between digits,

move cursors, and zoom waveforms.

MENU key

Press to display the measurement conditions,

system setup, and file operation menus.

CURSOR/ZOOM key

Press to set the cursor key operation (cursor

movement, waveform zoom).
