7.7  Menu: Firmware Update 

 

 

 

This option allows a replacement of the operating software (firmware) of VIP

digital 

by a more current 

version. 

Note 1: The function in this menu refers to the data exchange between VIP

digital 

and the PC. If the 

configuration software could not find a connection to VIP

digital

 during the start, these functions will not 

be available and the menu will show gray color. 

For details connecting a VIP

Note 2: Refer to the

update instructions. 

We strongly recommend a firmware update only after you have read these update instructions
