Exit button
In the menu - pressing this button will immediately interrupt the current activity and move to the next one. You can control the valve
manually, by pressing this button.
In the menu - pressing this button will return to the previous menu item.
Pressing the button during confi guration will return to the settings, and the value will not be stored.
Up/Down Arrows
In the menu - changing a parameter
In the settings - setting the value of the parameter
Pressing and holding both keys simultaneously for approx. 5 seconds will unlock the keypad.
During normal operation, the controller displays the following information, which change cyclically every 10 seconds.
Water Balance Vol: - the quantity of softened water, in m 3 .
Water Flow Rate: - water fl ow in m 3 /h.
Water Trig Time: - the time when the regeneration cycle started.
In addition, information such as the current time and the “In-Service” message, which signals normal operation, are constantly
displayed.
If there is a locked padlock symbol on the screen, it means that the keypad of the controller is locked. Approximately 1 minute
after pressing any button, the keypad is locked automatically. If the keypad is locked, pressing any key will result in the message
being displayed:
“Key Locked. Press ˅ and ˄ key for 5 seconds to unlock” - to unlock the keyboard, press and hold the arrow keys simultaneously,
until the padlock symbol disappears from the screen (after approx. 5 sec.).
Subsequent messages indicate diff erent working statuses and the time remaining before they fi nish.
Caution! The times given below are only for demonstration purposes.
“Back Washing...; Left: 2 min” - backward fl ushing, feed water fl ows into the tank, fl ows through the deposit, rinses it, and then
fl ows out into the sewage system.
“Brine & Slow Rinse....; Down Flow; Left 30 min” - regeneration of the deposit with brine and slow rinsing. After regeneration, the
water is directed to the sewage system.
“Refi lling....; Left 5 min” - fi lling the tank, water fl ows into the brine tank to prepare the salt solution for the next rinsing. The water
is then channelled to the sewage system.
“Fast Rinsing....; Left 3 min” - quick rinsing of the deposit, water fl ows through the deposit, in order to rinse any remaining brine off
it. The water is then channelled to the sewage system.
“Motor Running...” - the engine is running
“System Maintenance!; **Error 1**” - system malfunction.
Controller Menu Settings
With the keypad unlocked, press the selection key to enter the menu. The following options are displayed:
“Set Clock” - setting the time,
“Set Regen Time” - setting the regeneration time,
“Set Water Hardness” - setting water hardness in “mg/l.”
Use the arrow buttons to select options. When a particular option is selected, press the selection button again to change the value
of the selected parameter, by means of the arrow buttons. After changing the parameter, pressing the selection button again will
confi rm the new setting.
Controller System Settings
If the controller is turned on, when a valve type is displayed on the screen, press the exit button and the down arrow button to
access the system settings.
The settings for the ASD2 type controller are shown below.
Caution! Do not change the factory settings. If modifi ed, it may cause incorrect operation of the product and also cause its dam-
age. The manufacturer is not liable for damages resulting from changes in the factory parameters.
“Set Mode-Softener: Purifi er / Softener” - a factory setting that should not be changed.
