PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The automatic water softener enables constant monitoring of water hardness. Once the controller has been programmed, the
device operates fully automatically and does not require constant supervision by the operator. Hard water contains calcium (Ca
2+
),
magnesium (Mg 2+ ), etc. The softening process consists in removing these compounds from the water and replacing them with
sodium (Na+) compounds. The device has a connection with a valve that allows you to completely shut off the device, for example
when softened water is not needed. The proper, reliable, and safe operation of the device depends on its appropriate use, which
means that you should do the following:
Read and keep the entire manual before the fi rst use of the product.
The supplier shall not be held liable for any damage resulting from failure to observe the safety regulations and recommendations
specifi ed in this manual.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Do not perform any operations on the controller, without reading the manual carefully and understanding its contents.
Connect the product to the power network that meets the parameters indicated on the nameplate of the power supply unit, exclu-
sively. The plug of the power supply unit must fi t into the socket. It is forbidden to modify the plug or socket for the purpose of fi tting.
The power supply unit should be connected in a place secured from any contact of water with electric current or the power supply
unit, e.g. as a result of failure. This may cause damage to the device, or result in an electrical shock and fi re.
The product may only be used, transported, and installed vertically. Altering the position of the product may result in its damaging.
During the regeneration cycle, the water fl owing out of the device is not softened. It is not recommended to use the device during
the regeneration cycle. Otherwise, the regeneration cycle will be carried out incorrectly.
The regeneration cycle should be initiated manually, after each period of prolonged non-use. Then, allow water to fl ow out of the
unit for a few minutes, before commencing its normal use. Do not disconnect the unit from power supply, while it is repaired. This
will allow the controller that controls the regeneration cycle to work.
Modify this parameter in the controller settings, if the hardness of the water supplied to the product changes signifi cantly.
Hot water can permanently damage the water softening system. Observe the water temperature range specifi ed for the unit. If
you need to soften water that is outside the temperature range specifi ed for this unit, use a diff erent unit adapted to the desired
water temperature range.
The pressure range of the inlet water must be observed. It is forbidden to use negative water pressure.
Do not use chemicals at the inlet and outlet of water connections. Do not apply excessive force, when connecting the unit to the
system. Plastic connectors can be easily damaged, if tools are used for assembly.
Observe the operating temperature of the device specifi ed in the table containing technical data. Do not allow water inside the
unit to freeze.
It is recommended to place the product near the fl oor drain. In the event of a leak, this will limit the size of fl ooding.
Do not exert pressure on the product. Do not expose the product to direct sunlight or other heat sources.
Special salt in the form of tablets should be used as a regenerating agent. The use of powdered salt is prohibited. The use of
kitchen salt is prohibited.
The regeneration process consumes a regeneration agent, so after each regeneration check the amount of the regeneration agent
remaining in the tank. When using the product without the regenerating agent for too long, the softening resin will be consumed,
which means that the product will no longer perform its function.
The controller is powered by electric current. Some parameters entered by the user will be lost, if the controller is powered off for
more than 48 hours. This can lead to the regeneration cycle being carried out at the wrong time. After each loss of power supply,
check the controller settings and, if necessary, enter the appropriate values.
If any electrical cable of the device is damaged, disconnect the device from the power supply. It is not allowed to use the product
with damaged power supply cables. Electric cables cannot be repaired and must be changed for new ones at an authorised
service centre of the manufacturer.
The product is not intended to be handled by children. Make sure that children do not treat the product as a toy.
After the softening process, the water is not immediately drinkable. Before using it for food purposes, it should be additionally
treated, e.g. by means of fi ltration.
Sodium is used in the water softening process. Before water is used for food purposes, inform people who are going to consume
it about that fact.

Preparing the appliance for operation
Caution! All activities related to connecting the product to the water system must be carried out with the product disconnected from
the power supply. Make sure that the power supply unit has been disconnected from the wall outlet.
