15 Using the particle filter

• The manual regeneration lasts about 30 minutes and then the engine speed gradually de-
creases and the operator display station stops displaying the exhaust gas temperature icon.

WARNING

You can stop the regeneration of the DPF by performing one of the following

–

Lower the locking lever to unlock the machine controls.

–

Turn the engine speed setting switch to the high positron.

–

Press the manual regeneration switch.

–

Set the starter key to the OFF position.
