RS-485 Connection

Chapter 2. WIRING

An example of connection methods in such a case is shown below.

• Connect terminating resistors of 150

Ω

±5%, 1/2W min. at each end of the trans-

mission line.

• Terminal block is required for the

CMQ-V

series because of the connector type

connection.

• The cable to the terminal block from the

CMQ-V

series must be as short as pos-

sible.

• The FG grounding must not be made at the both shielded wire ends but only at

one location.

• Yamatake’s

CMC10L001A000

can be used as a converter of the host station.

Handling Precautions

Be sure to connect SG terminals each other. Failure to do so might cause

unstable communications.
