a. Blow air through the end of the air induction

system hose (to air cut-off valve assembly)
and check that air flows from the pipe (air
cut-off valve assembly to cylinder head).

b. Install a vacuum/pressure pump to the air-

cut off valve

and apply negative pressure

to the valve.

c. Blow air through the end of the air induction

system hose (to air cut-off valve assembly)
and check that air does not flow and out
through the pipe (air cut-off valve assembly
to cylinder head).
