2. Check:
• Secondary sheave spring “1”
Cracks/damage
→
Replace.
ASSEMBLING THE PRIMARY SHEAVE
1. Install:
• Slider “1”
TIP
• Face the gap “a” in the spring pin “2” outward
within the range shown.
• Position the spring pin “2” so that the spaces
between the pin and the slider “1” are equal on
both ends of the pin.
2. Install:
• Primary sliding sheave “1”
• Spider “2”
TIP
When installing the spider, make sure that the
punch mark “a” on the primary fixed sheave
shaft is positioned opposite the grease nipple “b”
as shown.
3. Install:
• Primary sheave cap “1”
TIP
Align the cutout “a” in the primary sheave cap
with the grease nipple “2” on the primary sliding
sheave.
ASSEMBLING THE SECONDARY SHEAVE
1. Attach:
• Secondary fixed sheave “1”
• Washer
• Secondary sliding sheave “2”
• Secondary sheave spring “3”
• Spring seat “4”
• Bolt “5”
(from the secondary fixed sheave side)
2. Set:
• Secondary spring position
TIP
Insert the secondary sheave spring into the hole
“2” of the secondary spring seat and the hole “B”
of the secondary sliding sheave.
