Selecting and Playing Individual Voices

The MU100 has a stunningly huge variety of Voices — a total of 1267. In
this section, you’ll select and play Voices in the XG mode, which features
1074 different Voices.

In this section, you’ll learn how to:

Call up the XG mode.

©

Select Voice banks and Voices from the panel controls.

©

Change the Play mode display to suit your preference.

©

Select and play Voices from a MIDI keyboard.

Calling Up the XG Mode

Operation

Press the 

[MODE]

 button.

Select “XG” in the display.
Use the 

[SELECT 

<

]

 buttons, 

[VALUE 

-

]

 buttons or data dial.

The XG mode setting is also shown by the arrow at the bottom right
of the display.

Press the 

[PLAY]

 button to go to the Play mode.

You can press the 

[EXIT]

 button for this as well.
