DIAGNOSTIC CODE TABLE
5 Defective throttle position sen-
sor Check in diagnostic mode (code
No. D01).
Throttle fully closed: 13-21 are
indicated.
Throttle fully open: 92-102 are
indicated.
An indicated value is out of the
specified range.

Replace the
throttle body.
Refer to “Throttle body, Fuel in-
jector”.
Turn the main switch to “ON”,
and then check the condition of
the fault code in diagnostic
mode of the Yamaha diagnostic
tool.
Condition is Recovered

Go to
item 7 and finish the service.
Condition is Detected

Go to
item 6.
6 ECU malfunction Replace the ECU. Finish the service.
7 EG warning light, delete the
fault code. Delete this fault code with the
status “Recovered” in the
Yamaha diagnostic tool.
Fault code No. P0112/P0113
Symptoms
Open or short circuit in the intake air temperature sensor 
P0112 (ground fault) P0113 (open circuit/sky fault)

Work when the machine to be repaired is completely cold.

ule coupler.

the coupler.
Disconnect the coupler and
check the pins (bent or broken

the fault code in diagnostic mode
of the Yamaha diagnostic tool.


Go to
item 7 and finish the service.

2 Connection of main harness
ECU coupler.
Check the locking condition of
the coupler.
Disconnect the coupler and
check the pins (bent or broken
terminals and locking condition
of the pins). Defective connections

Re-
connect or replace the harness.
Turn the main switch to "ON”, and
then check the condition of the
fault code in diagnostic mode of
the Yamaha diagnostic tool.
Condition is Recovered

Go to
item 7 and finish the service.
Condition is Detected

Go to
item 3.

Symptoms
Open or short circuit in the throttle position sensor detected.

