First, disconnect the negative battery

lead, and then the positive battery lead.

Rider seat and passenger seat, Side covers
LH & HR, Fuel tank panels LH & RH, under cowling

Refer to “GENERAL CHASSIS” on page 4-1.

Refer to “CHECKING AND CHARGING

Engine oil

Drain.
Refer to “CHANGING THE ENGINE OIL” in

Throttle body/clamp

Loosen.

Cylinder head breather hose

Disconnect.

Air induction system hose (Air induction system
solenoid to air induction system pipe)

Disconnect

Engine ground cable/clutch cable holder

Clutch cable

Disconnect.

Oil cooler pipe/collar with O-ring

Disconnect.

Engine oil temperature sensor coupler

Disconnect.

Spark plug cap

Disconnect.

Throttle cables
