MNT

Tighten the tensioner bolts to the speci-
fied torque.

10. Install the blowby hose.

11. Install the base assembly, stator assem-

bly, and flywheel magnet. See “Installing
the flywheel magnet” (7-6).

Checking the ignition timing

Attach the special service tool

and

to the spark plug wire #1

Start the engine and warm it up for 10
minutes.

Check the engine idle speed.

Check that the “T” mark

on the fly-

wheel magnet is aligned with the base
pointer

on the base assembly.

Tensioner bolt

8 N·m (0.8 kgf·m, 5.9 ft·lb)
