SetPoint functions
61
A. Boat direction
: Operates
B. Current/wind
—: Does not operate
TIP:
• A popup message appears asking whether to return to the original position if the boat moves more
than 23 m (75.4 ft) from the position fixed for STAYPOINT/FISHPOINT.
• A popup message appears if the boat cannot maintain the position fixed for STAYPOINT/FISH-
POINT.
DRIFTPOINT
Keeps only the boat’s
heading, while the boat
can drift diagonally with
the wind and current.
Thrust level
Lv0–5
The engine being
controlled switches
according to the thrust
level.
DRIFTPOINT TRACK
Allows boat to drift along a
set route while keeping a
heading by using both the
route setting function and
the DRIFTPOINT function
on the MFD.
Thrust level
Lv0–5
• The engine being con-
trolled switches accord-
ing to the thrust level.
• To use this function cor-
rectly, the boat’s heading
must be perpendicular
to, or at some angle to,
the direction of the cur-
rent. (That is to say, so
the boat drifts sideways.)
• If this function goes past
the final destination, it
just goes into regular
DRIFTPOINT at that
point. Take care,
because the boat may
drift in some unintended
direction. In addition, if
the radius of a way point
on the MFD is small, the
boat may not switch to
the next way point, so
you should constantly
confirm the boat is fol-
lowing the route.
