Do not connect any accessory unap-

otherwise the FTA-850L may be damaged.

Antenna Installation



To attach the supplied antenna to the

FTA-850L

grasp the base of the antenna firmly, and exert

a moderate “pinching” pressure on the base as

you press the antenna onto the radio’s antenna

connector. While exerting this pressure, rotate the

antenna clockwise 1/4 turn to lock the antenna in

place.





Belt Clip Installation

You may mount the clip to the rear of the

FTA-850L

using the supplied screws.
