3 Function Description
3.1 Configuration
Initial configuration
Item Description
Control box The control box is preconfigured for pumps with a
specific voltage and current.
Control module The control module must be configured to match
the voltage and current of the pump. The control
module can be configured with a configuration file
or manually.

Factory reset
When the controller is connected to a new pump, then a factory reset must be made. The
controller must be configured to match the voltage and current of the pump.
Setup Wizard
The Setup Wizard starts automatically at the initial startup, or after a factory reset. It is
available from the user interface and includes all the parameters that are needed for the
setup of a complete system. For more information, see

Settings menu
In the Settings menu of the user interface, it is possible to set all the configurable
parameters. For more information, see Settings on page 38.
System configuration
It is possible to save the configuration of a unit in the system. The configuration is saved as
a backup file on a USB drive. The backup file is used to restore installed units in the system,
or to configure new units. For more information, see
Maintenance
on page 27.
3.2 System setup modes
3.2.1 Pareo mode
The controller communicates with the pump module that is installed in the junction box of the
pump.
Normal operation Communication loss
Communication established If the controller repeatedly loses the communication
to the pump module, then the Pump communication
failure alarm appears. The status lamp turns yellow
and the pump continues to operate without any
input from the controller.
