5 System Setup and Operation
5.1 Commissioning
1. Turn on the controller.
2. Select one of the following actions:
Condition Action
First start of a control box Run the Setup Wizard.
The unit starts with the selected values.
First start of a control
module
1. Run the Setup Wizard.
The unit starts with the selected values.
2. Configure the control module and the pump module.

Restart of a controller
with the default settings.
1. Go to Settings > Back up/restore > Controller > Factory reset.
2. Confirm to continue with the reset.
3. Run the Setup Wizard.
The unit restarts with the selected values.

5.2 Run the Setup Wizard
Run the wizard.
Menu Action
Language Select the language.
Pump sensor setup Select the setup of the pump sensors.
This option only appears if the controller is not able to detect the pump module.
Nominal voltage Type the nominal voltage of the pump.
This option only appears if the controller is not able to detect the pump module.
Nominal current Type the nominal current of the pump.
This option only appears if the controller is not able to detect the pump module.
System units Select metric or imperial system.
Select the date Select the date.
Select the time Select the time.
Pump name Type a pump name or select an existing pump.
Site name Type a site name or select an existing site.
Pump control mode Select the pump control mode.
Start condition
Select the start condition of the automatic control mode.
Stop condition Select the stop condition of the automatic control mode.
Snore setup – Skip the snore setup to use the default reference power.
– Select Run pump in hand mode to detect power to find the reference power or
to enter the value manually.
