Inputs
There are two inputs into the detector that can be used to reset and trigger a fault due to air purge fault. A
voltage input between 5V and 30V signals RESET ON/Air Purge Fault ON. Less than 2V signals RESET
OFF/Air Purge Fault OFF. The input is isolated from the system by an opto-coupler device.

Relays
Relays on junction box are used to communicate Pre-Alarm, Alarm and Fault to the FACP. Fault relays are
energised during normal operation while Pre-Alarm and Alarm relay are energised only when Pre-Alarm and
Alarm conditions are met.
